Lots of people cringe over the thought of radiation when getting an X-Ray. How do you feel about them?

This is timely... I just read an article at lunch that links a common brain cancer to dental X-rays.
I think a single x-ray is not a problem. It's the accumulation of x-rays over time that is the problem. It's very much like the sun. You can go out in the sun without a problem, but if you are constantly in the sun every day for long periods of time, the accummulated rays could lead to skin cancer over a long period of time.
timely is right. I'm going to have teeth cleaning on Tuesday and if they say time for X-rays I'll respectfully decline.
